⚙️ Installation Guide (macOS)

Since the app is distributed directly outside the Mac App Store, macOS Gatekeeper may show a warning on first launch. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the DMG file and drag DynamicNotch into your Applications folder.
  2. Open your Applications folder, right-click DynamicNotch, and select Open.
  3. When the warning appears, click Cancel.
  4. Navigate to System Settings → Privacy & Security.
  5. Scroll down to the Security section and click Open Anyway.
  6. Enter your Mac password/Touch ID and confirm by clicking Open.

🛠 Known Issues

  • macOS Gatekeeper approval is required on first launch (Developer ID signature pending).
  • Native file conversion features depend on built-in macOS system codecs.
  • Universal Notification Interception requires Accessibility (Универсальный доступ) permissions in System Settings.
  • Lock Screen notch behavior relies on macOS display APIs and may vary across macOS versions.
