Kaze 0.19.1
- Kaze is signed and notarized by Apple: a downloaded copy opens without being called damaged.
- Importing from Chrome, Edge, Brave or Arc brings your sign-ins over again (it looked for the
cookies where only Windows keeps them, and found none on a Mac).
Kaze 0.19.0
Kite is now Kaze
- A new name (風, wind) and a new icon: a pinwheel of three translucent petals. Everything you had
stays — your tabs, sign-ins, saved keys and chats. Old kite:// addresses open their kaze:// page. - Agents connected to Kite (Claude Code, Codex…) show "Repair" in Settings › External agents:
one press renames them to Kaze.
A richer, calmer look
- Floating panels, menus and dialogs have a soft sheen and depth; buttons and tags use translucent
fills that take the window's tint; the main action in a dialog is a dark "ink glass" button. - Fields are white and quietly inset instead of grey wells, everywhere.
- Settings' colour tiles in Apple's system colours, each at its own brightness — no more muddy
orange or dark green. - The New Tab page wears the window's colour: one large field, the pages you just saw as cards with
their snapshots, your sites as plates.
Fixes
- Nothing stays stuck in its hover look when the pointer moves onto a page (the sidebar's resize
handle no longer shows up by the page). - The floating agent card appears in the page's corner and no longer jumps on its first drag.
- Short titles show whole; only titles that don't fit fade out.
- Menus: a check mark no longer covers its label; Zoom's full-screen button is back in the menu.
- "Helpers" are now called Subagents.
