1.0.3 plugin review fixes

Addressing issues in 1.0.2 review

Fixed

  • Removed the generic "General" heading above the plugin's settings, so the settings tab starts directly with the setting controls instead of an uninformative section label.

1.0.2 plugin review fixes

Addresses issues flagged by the Obsidian plugin review bot on the 1.0.1 submission.

Fixed

  • Removed the plugin's own name from the settings-tab section heading (it's already shown on the tab itself, so repeating it was redundant and flagged by review tooling).
  • Refactored the .bib file reading logic into its own explicitly-typed method, resolving unsafe-any lint warnings around the fs.readFile call.
  • Added "types": ["node"] to tsconfig.json to make sure Node's type definitions are picked up consistently by the type checker.

v1.0.1 — Plugin review fixes

Addresses all issues flagged by the Obsidian plugin review bot on the 1.0.0 submission.

Fixed

  • UI convention: Settings tab headings now use Setting(...).setHeading() instead of raw createEl("h2"/"h3"), matching Obsidian's expected pattern.
  • Type safety: Removed all any-typed values and the resulting unsafe assignment/member-access/call/return warnings — added a proper interface for the Better BibTeX JSON-RPC response, a minimal typed interface for the undocumented CodeMirror .cm handle, and explicit typing on the settings load path.
  • Floating promise: The paste/drop handler's async conversion call is now explicitly marked with void instead of being silently unhandled.
  • Unused variable: Removed an unused e catch binding.
  • Dependency swap: Replaced the builtin-modules npm package with Node's built-in node:module API in the esbuild config, dropping an unnecessary dependency.

Added

  • Declarative settings API: Implemented getSettingDefinitions() (Obsidian 1.13.0+) alongside the existing display(), so plugin settings are indexed in Obsidian's in-app settings search on newer versions. display() is retained as a fallback for older versions supported by this plugin's minAppVersion.
  • Release provenance: Added a GitHub Actions release workflow that generates artifact attestations for main.js, letting users cryptographically verify release builds match the published source.

Unchanged

  • No behavioural changes — all 29 existing tests pass unmodified, and the conversion logic, settings values, and commands work identically to 1.0.0.

Converts the citation Zotero drops into your note when you drag a PDF annotation in, rewriting it as a Pandoc/CSL citation whose link still points to the exact annotation — not just the item.

Features:

  • Automatic conversion on paste/drag, or via command palette
  • Two citekey sources: live Zotero via Better BibTeX, or a local .bib file
  • Link target choice: PDF annotation (default) or item-only
  • A "Remove annotation links" command to strip the zotero:// link back out before exporting, leaving a plain Pandoc citation

See the README for setup and usage.
