Major UI Overhaul

CustomTkinter → pywebview (WebView2/Edge engine)

What changed

  • Frameless dark window with custom title bar
  • HTML/CSS/JS UI — full design freedom (shadows, animations, gradients)
  • Staggered row animations on list load
  • Toast notifications for hide/show actions
  • System font stack: Segoe UI + Cascadia Code
  • Python↔JS bridge via pywebview.api

What stayed the same

  • All core modules unchanged (core.py, win32.py, tray.py, updater.py)
  • Same exe behavior — double-click to run
  • Same tray icon behavior — X closes to tray, Quit exits
  • Same update mechanism

Setup

pip install pywebview
pip uninstall customtkinter  # no longer needed

Build

cd D:\slink
git pull
pip install pywebview
Remove-Item -Recurse -Force dist, build
pyinstaller Slink.spec
