Release Date: 2026-10-15
⚠️ Breaking Changes:
🌟 New Features:
- Cell Configuration KMZ inventories: Network Inventories also accept Google Earth
KMZandKMLfiles, alone or in aZIPpackage (with folders or nested ZIP files), whose Placemarks describe one cell each: every cell becomes a row with its Technology, source file and folder, keys spelt differently in LTE and NR files share one column, and the site points and sector shapes are left out. A Network Inventory without an Operator is Multi-operator (Network column) and takes the owner of each cell from its Network column. - Inventory snapshots: every Multivendor Mapping and Network Inventory is a snapshot of the network on its Snapshot date, chosen when it is uploaded (filled in with the date of its file name) and shown and changed in its row of the Network Inventory & Vendor Mappings card (the date in its file name or its upload date until one is chosen), and its cells are normalised once into the new Inventory Cells table (with Inventory Snapshots, both in Database Management): technology, owner Network and Host Network kept apart, vendor, site, cell identity, band, channel, PCI, position (the British National Grid position when the coordinates are rounded), azimuth, configuration and status, so Network Insights and the Vendor mapping change snapshot without reading the inventories again.
- Serving-cell Vendor mapping: each sample takes the Vendor of the cells that served it among the networks allowed to serve its Operator (the new Serving Networks of Workspace Config, which lists every Operator with its serving networks to add, remove or return to the defaults by clicking them: by default Vodafone and 3 serve each other through eMOCN, Lebara is served by both and every other Operator by its own network), so 3 samples on Vodafone cells, Vodafone samples on cells hosted by O2 and O2 samples on cells hosted by Vodafone get their vendor. Every selected Multivendor Mapping and Network Inventory is pooled as a snapshot; a cell in several snapshots takes the one closest to the date the CDR was measured, and a cell farther than the maximum serving distance (30 km by default) from the sample is ignored. A sample none of whose cells is in the snapshots is
<Operator>_Unknown, as with Vendor polygons, instead of Mixed. The mapped CDRs also receiveServing_Network,Serving_Host_Network,Serving_Site_ID,Serving_eMOCN_Scenario,Serving_Distance_kmandServing_Inventory_Snapshot, and the Map dialog marks the CDRs mapped under another rule, other Serving Networks or other snapshots as Vendor mapping outdated and selects them. The Serving Networks travel with Mappings & Reference Data. - Network Insights on inventory snapshots: an Inventory snapshot selector (the newest snapshot of each network, or one snapshot for the networks it covers) and four new or rebuilt panels. Serving Cells finds each sample's serving cell among the networks the Serving Networks of Workspace Config allow to serve its Operator and shows, per group, the cells found, the median and P90 distance to the serving site, the overshooting share beyond a chosen distance, the share hosted by another network, the distance CDF, the breakdown by band, vendor and host network, the overshooting cells, the NR cell of the NSA samples (the cell with their NR PCI whose band and carrier hold their SSB frequency: on the LTE anchor's site, else the nearest one, marked when ambiguous) with its vendor and distance, and the MIMO of the serving cells (TXRX mode or TX antennas) against the rank and maximum MIMO layers the samples reported. 5G Availability measures the samples anchored on LTE cells of sites with NR that measured no NR and lists those sites, and for the samples that reached NR whether their NR cell was found, on the anchor's site and how far, with the NR sites that served the most samples. Network Snapshot shows the snapshot of each network, the owner × host network matrix, the inventory quality and the changes from another snapshot (cells added and removed and vendor swaps by region). Network Deployment counts the sites and cells of each owner network of the snapshot (Vodafone, 3 and O2 from one Cell Configuration package) by owner or host network, vendor, technology, band, eMOCN scenario, site type, region, subregion, cluster, city, urban/rural, performance polygon, status or MIMO, for LTE, NR or both and in service only, with CSV exports; Cluster Sites Density calculates the sites per km² and the inter-site distance per cluster or region, and Spectrum adds the carriers and MHz deployed per band. SA serving cells (
5G NRtraces) are recognised in the observed sites and cells. The coverage and interference maps draw the sites around the weakest and most interfered areas as one wedge per cell in the colour of its vendor, with a ring around the sites whose cells the snapshot shows locked, halted, disabled, planned or in progress, listed in a table below the maps with their nearest weak area, and the PowerPoint and Word summaries include every new panel. - Notices for super-admins: after signing in and while signed in (checked with the poll of incoming server transfers, every few seconds), a super-admin is told in a dialog, like that of an incoming server transfer, of the access requests waiting for activation and of the bug reports still New that other users reported, on whatever page is open, with Open Access Requests (Admin → Users with the new Pending access requests status), Open Bugs Report (the New reports) and Close. Each super-admin is told of each one once (a later request of the same user is told again, and an opened bug report is not told), and the open dialog takes in what arrives meanwhile; what each one was told of is kept in the new Admin Notices Seen table of the application database and recorded in the App Events (executed by the module of the page), and Users & Access carries the pending request of each inactive user.
🚀 Enhancements:
- Map CDR fields dialog: the mappings to apply come right after the CDRs, in Vendor, Region and Cluster cards, and the dialog fits the window: only the CDR lists scroll. The Vendor card offers the Cell inventories (the source formerly called Network Inventory) or the Vendor polygons, and lists the Vodafone UK and Three UK Multivendor Mappings and the Cell Configuration and other Network Inventories, each with its networks and snapshot date. Shorter rules follow under How each mapping works, each below its card, and the Cancel and Map buttons, with the number of selected CDRs, stay visible at the bottom of the Map, Clear Mappings and Reprocess Datasets dialogs, which no longer scroll the page behind them.
- Network Insights design: every panel opens with the question it answers and explains itself in information notes; the Analysis Selection groups its controls in Scope, Thresholds and Maps & inventory, and the grouping selectors are called Split by (View / Split by in Network Deployment, Split sites by in the density table); the KPI cards, section headings, toolbars and export buttons share one style; numeric columns align with their headers and long tables scroll under a fixed header; the maps no longer overlap their title with an axis name and draw the inventory sites as triangles (sectors once an area is zoomed) in vendor colours outside the quality scale, with an Inventory sites check to hide them; and double-clicking any chart, map or table opens it larger, as in Scoring: every map moves by dragging, zooms with the mouse wheel or a Ctrl/Cmd+drag rectangle down to street level and measures distances and bearings with Alt/Opt+drag, with square samples, translucent sectors under them in the Vendor Maps colours (hidden per vendor or state from the legend) and the inventory sites of the whole view once close enough. Network Insights reopens with the last analysis, also after a restart (running it again when its stored result is out of date), and keeps its scroll position when reloaded. Switching the Inventory snapshot is immediate (the snapshots are prepared in the background and kept on disk with their cells) and an analysis takes about a third of the time; the Network Snapshot panel shows the snapshot in use, its cards and the density columns carry each network's colour, LTE (red) and NR (green) have their own colours in every table, and every list of operators and networks follows the order and colours of the Operator Maps. Every CDF has the P10, P50 and P90 of each group under it and ends its axis where the curves flatten, as in CDR Analysis, the RF Quality table gives its RSRP and SINR in dBm and dB, and Serving Cells adds the distance CDF per RAN vendor beside the one per group, a breakdown by serving network and marks with No inventory the groups whose serving networks have no cells in the snapshot. The Coverage & Interference Maps follow the Overview, on the page, in the sections menu (which now lists every panel) and in the PowerPoint and Word summaries.
- NQ Implementation Proposals: the Implementation Proposal field is called Implementation Proposals (workspaces that kept the former name take it once). In Lifecycle & Phases, a phase field with more than 12 values takes a row of its own below the other cards, across the panel, its values in columns from the most frequent (a slide of its own in PowerPoint and Word), and the values of a field without colours take a palette of different colours.
- Sections bar in every module: every page with two or more sections shows them in a floating bar in the colour of its module, as in Non-Qualified Calls: it stays at the top of the window, starts with an arrow back to the top of the page, holds every entry of the sections list of its tab (the parts of an entry, such as the Scoring Results tabs or the Mappings & Reference Data maps of Workspace Config, open below it), goes to the chosen section and marks the one being read. In Non-Qualified Calls the bar now goes to each panel, with Filters first, instead of showing one panel at a time, so All panels is gone, and the NQ Analysis Configuration beside it opens on hover, its options with the icons of the sections menu.
- Saved Filters panel: the Saved Filters panel of Scoring & GAP Analysis shows ten Saved Filters before it scrolls, and is only as tall as fewer ones.
- NQ panels while loading: every panel of Non-Qualified Calls shows an animated Loading… bar while it waits for its data, as Scoring & GAP Analysis while it calculates, and the chips of the active filters appear on every panel as soon as the filters change, without waiting for the data.
- Dashboard charts in the background: the charts of the Dashboards start rendering once nobody has used the application for two minutes, instead of five.
- App Events details and filters: App Events shows the newest 10,000 events instead of 1,000, 100 a page with a pager, filtered on the server and refreshed only when an event changes; the columns before Details read a little smaller, the time of each event is a green badge below its date, every badge of the table the same size, action names wrap only at their underscores, the User column and filter are called Triggered by and show each person by first and last name with the username as a badge below, as the filter lists them; Executed by always tells where the event ran: the module whose page was used, the Server (Scheduler, Background job, Idle task or Startup), a Remote server, or Public pages used without signing in (events of earlier versions take it from their action), each with its tag, and is exported with the events; the Date, Triggered by, Executed by, Type and Action filters choose several values each (a tall list, as wide as its values need, with its values close together, its search and Select All / None fixed at the top, that stays open while the table refreshes; none ticked shows every event, and filters saved with one value keep it); the Details of each event are one readable sentence, with the recorded data folded under Raw details instead of shown twice; each save of a user records only the fields it changed, from the previous value to the new one (or that nothing changed), creating or deleting a user records the account, and so do the changes of Modules Profiles, Workspace Groups, Interface Settings, the application configuration, email delivery, backups and Operator and Vendor Maps; events of earlier versions, which kept only what was saved, say that they did not record what changed.
- NQ Not Attended and Stalled indicators: the indicators of Lifecycle & Phases, on the page and in PowerPoint and Word, count the calls Not Attended (the first status, in its colour) before Open, and a click on Not Attended or on Stalled shows only those calls (Stalled with its own chip, the open calls without changes for 14 days or more from today). The Calls card of the NQ panels reads Selected Non-Qualified Calls.
- NQ Filters panel: the General Filters and the NQ Analysis Fields Filters each in a card of their own, the filters with a value applied in the colour of the module (their name and their list), and a Follow-up filter after Status Set (Attended, Not attended, Open, Stalled, Closed, With team, Assigned, Commented, With a root cause, RCA identified and RCA not identified, the calls in any of those chosen), the one the indicator cards of the panels set (Open, the attended calls not closed, for the Open cards of Lifecycle & Phases). The badge of every panel with the calls that match the filters (such as 774 Filtered Calls) is larger, filled in the colour of the module.
- NQ Analysts and Reviewers linked to their accounts: Analysts → Asignees, now Analysts / Reviewers → Asignees, lists every Analyst / Reviewer of the calls, one row per person with their calls as Analyst and as Reviewer, and the Analyst and the Reviewer of the calls take the first and last name of the account chosen for them, shown in a New Analyst / Reviewer column (every spelling of a person becomes one value; an account without a name leaves them as they are), besides the Asignee of the calls they analysed, with the changes counted before applying and kept in the history of each call; the calls whose CDR is not loaded yet change too, in their imported analysis.
- Saved Filter ID: every Saved Filter card of Scoring & GAP Analysis, and the selected one of the Scoring Results dropdown, shows its Filter ID: N in a badge in the bottom right corner, before its buttons.
- Starred and unsaved filters in App Events: the Scoring calculations and exports of App Events name their Saved Filter as
saved filter ID N (starred)when it is starred, and asunsaved filter ID Notherwise.
🐛 Bug fixes:
- Vendor mapping cell identities: the VFUK Multivendor Mapping and the Network Inventories identify each LTE cell by its ECI,
eNodeB ID × 256 + Cell ID, and each NR cell by its NCI,gNodeB ID × 16384 + Cell ID(22-bit gNodeB IDs), the identities the CDRs report. The internal Local Cell ID of Huawei and Nokia cells (about 54,000 Vodafone and O2 cells) and the former× 4096NR rule found no cell, or a wrong one, for their samples, and the 5G sheet of the VFUK mapping now also maps the NR cells of SA CDRs; one Network Inventory can hold LTE and NR cells. Map the CDRs again to apply it. Non-Qualified Calls takes the gNB of NR cells with the same rule. - Operator of a Network Inventory: changing it in the Network Inventory & Vendor Mappings card is saved again.
- NQ calls per page: Rows offers 10 (the default), 25, 50 and 100 calls a page, and the table shows that many; it showed ten calls whatever Rows said when every panel was shown.
- NQ filters after Operator Maps changes: an Operator or Vendor of the saved filters that the Operator Maps now show with another name (Vodafone SM, mapped to VF SM) is chosen with that name when the page opens; it was dropped from the list, leaving out its calls, and the NetCheck RCA values saved with another spelling are chosen the same way.
- Scoring calculation progress: the progress of a scoring calculation no longer seems stuck at 2%: it tells when it checks the Scoring History of the selected CDRs, which now takes about a fifth of the time, and that check no longer waits for other work writing to the workspace.
- System in App Events: every event of the application itself belongs to
system, shown in red as System tagged application in the table and first in the Triggered by filter, with a line of its own before the default users; the table columns taken from an imported Non-Qualified Calls configuration were recorded under animportuser, and those events move tosystemwhen the workspace opens, with the import in their details. - NQ Stalled calls: the Stalled indicator and the Stalled Open Calls of Lifecycle & Phases count only the open calls (attended and not closed) without changes for 14 days or more, also in PowerPoint and Word; they also counted the calls Not Attended.
