ThirdEye v2.2.0
Pre-release
Pre-release
What's New in v2.2.0
Multi-Provider Support
- GitHub, GitLab & Bitbucket — monitor PRs, merge requests, issues, notifications, and CI checks across all three providers simultaneously.
- Multiple accounts per provider — connect as many accounts as you need for each provider.
- Unified interface — all items displayed with provider badges and per-account filtering.
Account Management
- Add accounts from Settings — no need to go back to the setup screen. Add, remove, enable, and disable accounts directly from Settings → Connected Accounts.
- Provider-specific configuration — GitHub tokens, GitLab PATs (with self-hosted instance URL support), and Bitbucket App Passwords.
Automatic Updates
- Built-in auto-updater — checks for updates on startup and notifies you when a new version is available.
- Silent download & restart — on macOS (ZIP), Windows (NSIS), and Linux (AppImage), updates are downloaded in the background with a restart prompt.
- GitHub API fallback — on Linux DEB/RPM, the correct installer is downloaded to ~/Downloads.
- Manual check — trigger update checks anytime from Settings → Updates.
- Toggle — enable or disable automatic updates from Settings.
Settings & About
- About section — version info, GitHub link, license, and library acknowledgements.
- Update status — real-time progress display for downloads.
Other Improvements
- IDE/WebStorm compatibility — npm scripts now work reliably regardless of PATH configuration.
- Updated documentation with multi-provider setup guide and auto-update details.
