Added

  • Notifications — in-app toasts when verify, autocorrect, DOI lookup, export, predatory-list update, or bibliography bridge actions complete; OS notification when a manuscript audit finishes while the window is in the background. Toggle under Settings → General.
  • Sanad setup — slim in-app modal with Hugging Face model links and a Full setup guide button to the canonical website docs (locale-aware /en/ or /ar/docs/sanad-setup).

Changed

  • Arabic UI — glossary-aligned terminology (workers, modes, panels, passage grounding) across the desktop app.
  • Bibliography busy state — slim task strip (verify / autocorrect / DOI lookup) replaces the dimmed list overlay.
  • Sanad setup modal — removed duplicated runner walkthrough (LM Studio / Ollama / vLLM); website docs are canonical.

Fixed

  • Windows app icon — taskbar/titlebar now uses Nassila icon in dev and builds (generated build/icon.png + build/icon.ico).
  • Network status — reduced false Offline flapping during verify/audit; added Retry connection affordance when Offline.
  • DOI ↔ title conflicts — rows where the DOI resolves to a different article are treated as an identity conflict. UI offers Find DOI for title or Use DOI’s title; autocorrect prefers fixing the DOI instead of overwriting the title.
  • Webpage titles — placeholder titles like () are now replaced from fetched page metadata during autocorrect.
