ForgeLab Navigator provides offline neutron-highway routing for Elite Dangerous, as an EDMC plugin or a standalone companion.
Download ForgeLabNavigator-1.1.1.zip below. Extract it and copy the ForgeLabNavigator folder into your EDMC plugins folder (replacing 1.1.0), then restart EDMC. The ZIP includes the complete neutron map and runtime data.
1.1.1 fixes the wrong ship being used on startup. When EDMC started while the game was already running, the Navigator would recover your ship, location and fuel from the newest journals, picked by file name. Journals from before 2022 use an older name format that sorts after the current one, so commanders with old journals could get a ship from years ago (reported as a Caspian Explorer shown as a Beluga Liner). Thanks to the CMDR on Reddit who reported it.
- Journals are now ordered by the time in their names, in both formats.
- The recovered ship is cross-checked against EDMC's current ship; if they differ, EDMC's is used, or the Navigator waits for a fresh loadout rather than plan with the wrong ship.
- The standalone companion now follows the newest journal in both name formats.
- Ship names now display properly (e.g. "Beluga Liner" instead of "BelugaLiner").
Still on 1.1.0? With EDMC running, relog to the main menu and back in; the fresh loadout corrects the ship.
All 50 automated tests pass (41 from 1.1.0 plus 9 new); see the repository's validation notes. The .sha256 asset contains the ZIP checksum.
