CLI Framework

This version introduces a powerful, production-ready CLI framework designed for serious developers building serious tools — with none of the bloat.

What's New

  • Config System Overhaul – Supports nested JSON config with modcli, messages, and shell sections.
  • Shell Mode – Interactive console with customizable prompt, welcome/goodbye messages, and support for external shell-only commands.
  • Output System – Unified output builder supporting:
    • Styled output (bold, italic, underline, strike, blink)
    • Colors and gradients (2-color, 3-color, and multi-stop)
    • Multiline scrollers with delay support
  • Progress Bars – New flexible progress bar system with custom fill characters, percent display, gradient fill, and manual step support.
  • Modern Table Renderer – Supports flex, fixed, and full-width table rendering with Unicode box styles.
  • Internal Hooks – hook::info(), hook::warn(), hook::error() and more — all style-aware and theme-compatible.
  • Shell Extension Support – Parent projects can register custom commands and intercept shell input.
  • Theme System – Centralized control over CLI colors (background, text, log levels).
  • Compile-Time Config Loading – Optional embedded config prevents tampering after build.
  • Proper Registry Features – Now includes .count() and .all() for command iteration and metrics.

Status

This release is test-ready, feature-rich, and ready for integration into real-world CLI tools. Breaking changes will be minimized going forward.
