Y2JB Installer 1.1.0

1.1.0 — 2026-10-24

Added

  • Experimental Android target. The full workflow is verified on Pixel 9 with Android 17; connection and payload sending are verified on OnePlus 13 with Android 16.
  • System-aware light and dark themes.
  • AppImage releases now include GitHub Releases update information and a matching .zsync file for AppImageUpdate.
  • Compact scaling for narrow mobile viewports.

Changed

  • Documented the Linux glibc and WebKitGTK/GTK runtime baseline.

Previous release information:

First release. Prepares a PS5 for Y2JB: account activation, fake sign-in, YouTube installation, download0.dat placement, and YouTube update blocking.

Supported firmware: 4.03–13.60. Firmware 11.40 is not supported.

Requirements: kernel read/write access from a compatible exploit, and an ELF loader on port 9021.

Testing

Only macOS was manually tested. Windows and Linux artifacts built successfully in CI, but were not tested on clean machines.

Important

Disconnect the console from the internet before opening YouTube. An online launch can overwrite download0.dat and require reinstalling it.
