Changes from 2.8.0

  • It introduces context cloning to enable parallel processing with a single parsing. A code fragment is parsed only once and can be executed simultaneously by multiple threads in a cloned context. This use case can be implemented using the C API, or the C++ API.
  • There is no change for the CLI. For instance no built-in uses parallel processing, but it could be in the future.

About packages

The available packages include the modules: crypto, csv, date, file, mariadb, oracle, sqlite3, sys , utf8.
In addition the win64 package contains the runtime libraries for SQLite3 and MariaDB.
