Improvements

• Improves subscription transport compatibility with stable request headers, bounded retries, redirect handling, compression support, clearer HTTP response classification, and privacy-safe diagnostics.
• Keeps Fake-IP and private-origin protections in place across initial requests and redirects.
• Reports safe troubleshooting details such as failure stage, category, HTTP status, Foundation networking error code, attempt count, sanitized content type, and response size without including subscription URLs, tokens, headers, or response bodies.

Scope and limitations

• Subscription intake remains intentionally bounded to sing-box JSON, URI lists, Base64 URI lists, and Clash YAML, with a supported subset of Shadowsocks, VMess, VLESS, and Trojan variants.
• This preview does not add TUN support.
• This is a development preview and is not Product-ready.
• The app is signed with Apple Development signing and is not notarized. Gatekeeper may reject it on other Macs; only proceed if you trust the release source and have verified the SHA-256 checksum.

What is included

• Fixes an issue where a valid HTTPS subscription hostname could be rejected when Fake-IP DNS returned an address in 198.18.0.0/15.
• Generic Subscription Intake supports a bounded subset: sing-box JSON, URI lists, Base64 URI lists, and Clash YAML.
• The current generic node subset is Shadowsocks, VMess, VLESS, and Trojan.
• Provider-specific advanced semantics and routing semantics may not be fully imported.
• Target currently does not provide TUN.

This development preview is not Product-ready and is not a stable release.

Signing and opening

This development preview is not a notarized production release. macOS Gatekeeper may require the user to explicitly allow/open the app.

For ordinary testing, download the ZIP and checksum, verify the checksum with shasum -a 256 -c Target-1.0.0-dev.1-macos-arm64.zip.sha256, extract the ZIP, then Control-click Target.app, choose Open, and confirm Open if macOS prompts.
