  • Preserved the user’s existing macOS system-haptic setting when its experimental flag is disabled without an active Trackpad Wizard override, and skipped unavailable devices such as an internal trackpad behind a closed lid when an All Trackpads operation can continue safely.
  • Read the selected trackpad’s I/O Registry sensor dimensions in System mode, including built-in-first sizing for All Trackpads, so the visual surface no longer depends on Enhanced Mode for correct hardware dimensions.
  • Persisted confirmed 90° and 270° Trackpad Wizard coordinate rotations and clarified their app-only boundary; native 0° and 180° reports retain exact-state rollback.
  • Made Force Stage show a placeholder while Force Click and haptic feedback is disabled in System Settings, with automatic device and preference refresh when the app becomes active again.
  • Added stable TW-xxxx error codes to bottom error notifications across enhanced touch, haptics, gesture suppression, advanced controls, exports, permissions, and updates.
  • Added daily GitHub Release checks, optional automatic download, SHA-256 verification, release-page access, and a macOS-confirmed installer handoff in the new Updates settings tab.
  • Added optional Enhanced Mode restoration after refocus and a separate preference for explanatory text inside Settings.
  • Kept device cards equal-height with two-line Bluetooth names and made the Overview trackpad count icon independent from Enhanced Mode.
  • Made Enhanced Mode and advanced private controllers load only on demand and unload after their switches are turned off, while retaining crash-recovery access only when a managed override requires it.
  • Expanded focused coverage for exact haptic-state preservation, lazy private-runtime loading, surface-size routing, quarter-turn persistence, and release metadata parsing.
