mpv installs itself. If mpv isn't on your PC, DVRDesk now offers to download it when it starts: click Download mpv, then Restart DVRDesk. The earlier winget install instructions didn't work, because that package doesn't include the part DVRDesk needs.
No more silent Play button. If video can't play because mpv is missing, DVRDesk now tells you why and how to fix it, on Windows and Linux.
Guide History in one click
Install on This PC. Settings → Programming History can now install the Guide History service for you on Windows or Linux, using your Channels DVR server's address. On Windows it starts with the PC, even when nobody is signed in, and asks for administrator permission once.
Other PCs find it automatically. Install it on the PC that runs Channels DVR, and DVRDesk on your other PCs picks it up by itself when Programming History is left blank.
Included in the download. The service now comes with DVRDesk Native. The Windows zip's README also explains how to set it up by hand, including running it at startup with Task Scheduler.
