HA Percyta v1.2.0 – First public release 🎉

HA Percyta is a Home Assistant integration that gives you a clear, local overview of what is running in your installation: integrations, apps, custom cards, blueprints, users, tokens and stored secrets – together with a risk rating, system resources and an inventory of your Home Assistant data.

Everything runs inside Home Assistant. No token, no URL and no external service is needed, and the data is read only – nothing in your installation is changed.

✨ Highlights

  • 🛡️ Permissions & privacy scan – all integrations, apps, custom cards, blueprints, users and long-lived tokens in one place, with an automatic risk rating (🟢 low / 🟡 medium / 🔴 high) and a "Why?" explanation. The level can be overridden manually per integration.
  • 🔑 API keys & secrets – finds keys, tokens and passwords stored in integration data (including nested ones such as OAuth tokens). Values are masked by default; a "Show" button reveals a single value on demand (admins only, never part of the HTML download).
  • 💾 Storage & System – disk, RAM, swap, CPU and load average, system storage by category, the largest consumers under /config, and the data size per app.
  • 📊 Inventory & Health – automations, scripts, scenes, helpers, areas, floors, labels, unavailable/disabled/hidden entities, available updates and entities by domain. The overview cards link straight to the matching page in Home Assistant.
  • 🗄️ Database (Recorder) – which entities fill your database the most (states and long-term/short-term statistics, top 30 each, with totals). Entries open the history on click.
  • 🆕 "New since last scan" – new integrations, apps, custom cards, blueprints and users get a badge, and the header tells you what is new.
  • 🖥️ Report panel in the sidebar – full-width tile layout, sortable tables, global search, accordion/single mode, expand/collapse all, German and English UI (follows the HA language). The panel remembers your last view.

📦 Everything included

Scan

  • Integrations with state, source, custom flag, IoT class, dependencies, entity and device counts (counts link to the filtered view in HA)
  • Apps (HA OS / Supervised via Supervisor API): full_access, privileged, host network, Docker API, GPIO/USB, supervisor role, … plus CPU/RAM per app and data size per app (app data + configuration, without the Docker image)
  • System access analysis – GPS, camera, network, database, root/system rights
  • Custom cards (Lovelace resources) and blueprints with file sizes
  • Users & tokens – owner/admin, groups, long-lived tokens with last usage; tokens unused for more than 90 days are flagged
  • Cloud data flow – which integrations send data to external services
  • Important errors from the system log (optional)
  • Last backup – time, age, size and name shown under the version line (highlighted if older than 7 days)

Home Assistant entities

  • Sensors: security findings, integrations, apps, API keys & secrets, CPU, RAM, disk usage, free disk space, unused tokens, last/next scan, new findings
  • Button: start a scan immediately
  • Select: scan interval (manual / hourly / daily / weekly / monthly)
  • Services: ha_percyta.scan, ha_percyta.export
  • Event: ha_percyta_new_findings (with type and names) for your own automations

Report

  • Panel in the HA sidebar, automatic scan when opening the panel, Rescan button
  • Download as Markdown or HTML; optional Markdown report file per scan
  • Background updates only refresh the data – open boxes, sorting and scroll position stay untouched, and the last view is restored when you come back to the panel (stored per browser)

If you like the Integration, I would appreciate a Star rating ⭐ from you.
This helps the algorithm to boost the Integration. Thank you.
