Added
Real PDS design tokens compiled into the build: The plugin now depends on the public @pantheon-systems/pds-design-tokens npm package (exact-pinned) instead of a private ../pds-core sibling checkout. npm run copy:tokens vendors the published light-mode token CSS to assets/sass/_pds-tokens.scss (committed, like assets/js/libs/chart.umd.js), which admin.scss@uses so the real :root{--pds-*} definitions compile into admin.css. The CSS build no longer depends on a private repo and works in CI, and the shipped artifact is fully self-contained.
Fixed
WordPress 7.0 styling breakage: WordPress 7.0's "Modern" design system exposed a latent bug — the shipped admin.css referenced var(--pds-*) tokens that were never defined anywhere (the token source was gitignored, distignored, and never imported), so modals lost their background/shadow and colors broke on real installs. Tokens are now defined in the compiled CSS (see Added), so every reference resolves.
WordPress 7.0 button and icon alignment: WP 7 enlarged core buttons (40px) and restyled dashicon metrics, which made the plugin's icon buttons balloon and pushed dashicons off-center. Buttons now use flexbox centering (no :has(), so it works in every browser) with a matching-specificity override of core's .wp-core-ui .button .dashicons line-height, keeping the plugin's buttons blended with the new design system.
Development page fatal error: The page fataled with "Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array" when the Pantheon API returned a WP_Error (e.g. an invalid or expired token). The environment list is now guarded before use.
Metrics filter row alignment: The Load Metrics / Refresh buttons now match the 48px height of the adjacent WP 7 select controls so the row aligns.
Site Label input width: The inline-edit input for the site label was constrained (WordPress's .regular-text was wider than the field needs).
License metadata mismatch: package.json and the plugin header declared MIT while the bundled LICENSE file and README are GPL v2 or later. Both now declare GPL-2.0-or-later to match.
Changed
Development asset cache-busting: Plugin CSS/JS are enqueued with a filemtime()-based version in development (WP_DEBUG or a local environment) so rebuilt assets are not served stale from the browser or Pantheon edge cache; production continues to use the stable plugin version.
