Highlights in 2.4.0:

  • Backend TLS is validated against the pinned Google Trust Services roots (NTP clock sync on cold boot)
  • The setup hotspot is WPA2-protected with a random code shown on the e-ink screen
  • BOOT button press wakes the frame to fetch the latest picture immediately

Note: a USB flash of the full image erases stored WiFi credentials and pairing — re-run setup in the app afterwards.
