Third-Party Plugin Integration API
A new bevy_map_integration crate provides a TOML-driven system for third-party plugin authors to extend the editor:
PluginMeta— declare plugin properties (string, int, float, bool, filepath, enum, point, color) in a simple TOML fileIntegrationRegistry— runtime registry for querying properties by entity type, inspector sections, and file extensionsPluginManager— automatic discovery of plugin TOML files from standard platform directories- Editor UI integration — plugin-contributed properties render automatically in the inspector with type-appropriate widgets (sliders, color pickers, file browsers, enum dropdowns, etc.), and plugins can contribute menu items, toolbar buttons, inspector sections, and context menu actions
Includes a complete bevy_aseprite_ultra example demonstrating how a companion crate would declare properties and bridge them to components.
Async File Dialogs
File dialogs (open, save, export) are now async, preventing the editor from freezing while a dialog is open. This also adds initial macOS support for file dialogs.
