AIRS 0.3.4 Preview — build 13
AIRS 0.3.4 Preview — build 13
Apple silicon preview. Clean-machine and minimum-macOS acceptance are pending. This preview has been qualified locally on the development Mac; it is not a clean-installation or macOS 14 compatibility claim.
Changes
- Saved-batch pairing now defaults to complete saved-report row coverage. A refused pair retains no comparison payload; legacy opt-out remains explicit.
- Advanced Swift analysis includes bounded throwing-call and error-handler region recovery, incoming-edge validation, and conservative structured pseudocode. These are limited static models, not general Swift decompilation.
- The app includes its private Python 3.15 runtime and an exact source/build provenance record. No separate Python installation is required by the packaged engine.
Qualification
- Accepted focused source/native results were reused. Changed-workflow observations covered strict refusal, legacy opt-out, busy-state locking and cancellation without stale output.
- The signed candidate was accepted by Apple notarization and stapled. Code seal, Gatekeeper, ticket and source/build binding passed.
- The distribution archive passed bounded privacy/link checks. One isolated launch of a fresh extraction with synthetic quarantine ran from an actual App Translocation location; report overview and comparison-sheet interaction passed.
- Browser-download acceptance passed: the published ZIP completed through the browser with HTTP 200, the expected filename and 33,207,916-byte size, and SHA-256 matching the accepted archive. Browser quarantine metadata was present. The downloaded app was not launched; unchanged signing and local GUI/translocation results were reused.
- Independent clean-machine, offline and minimum-macOS acceptance remain pending. Historical build-12 results are not transferred to this candidate.
Identity
- Version: 0.3.4; build: 13; architecture: Apple silicon.
- Frozen candidate source: 2944e46.
- ZIP SHA-256: be30a2a95fdcb17dc924f18d766c6f94159f93407f712ec9954d7c354ee8e51d.
- Embedded source metadata is a signed builder claim, not reproducible-build proof.

Public source sanitation update — October 25, 2026
Current source commit for v0.3.3-build12: 058c8471d3ea94d7fb0be3aea55d21cb6f4b6b84. Tag object: 9fc02c6d9b3e293201d9044f21a955eb9dee34b9.
The sanitized source ZIP has SHA-256 0af375e15aa3693bb1a7a5fad73db36ac3f585a063c164023e9a18d9975c00f4. The source reconciliation supplement records the previous/current source and tag identities, changed source-archive checksums, and retained accepted app identities.
This update replaces source ZIPs and their source-checksum entries and adds the reconciliation supplement. Signed app ZIPs and original qualification/download records are unchanged. Accepted build, test, signing, notarization and functional results are reused within their original scope. No new app build, re-signing, notarization or unchanged test run was performed. Rewritten historical source is not asserted to reproduce the retained signed binaries.
Personal development context was removed while legal attribution was preserved. Historical review-profile source uses the already-qualified portable temporary-directory getter. Original source fields in older qualification records remain historical observations; use the reconciliation chain for their current lineage.

AIRS 0.3.3 Preview — build 12 corrects sidebar sizing and mouse navigation. It uses the complete Lumen source list so displayed rows and click targets remain aligned under the toolbar. All nine destinations were accepted after pending work settled, including Batch History → Image Batches. Existing busy, modal, error and unsaved-checkpoint guards remain intact. Engine semantics and report formats are unchanged.
The Apple silicon app is Developer ID signed, notarized and stapled. This release uses the exact accepted build 12 ZIP: no rebuild, re-signing, re-notarization or repeated accepted qualification.
Retained evidence includes the page-header sizing regression; all 81 ordered sidebar destination pairs after settlement; physical mouse checks across all nine destinations at normal and smaller window sizes; and all nine physical checks again in the installed signed build 12. A bounded installed-process query found no AttributeGraph, publishing-during-update or fatal-error messages. Unchanged engine, helper, private Python, Settings and comparison receipts are reused. The changed executable/bundle metadata and changed release-source metadata passed their first bounded publication sanitation inspections. No fresh CI pass is claimed.
This remains a preview. Clean-machine, minimum-macOS, Intel-app and offline qualification remain incomplete. The post-publication bounded check below accepted build 12 public-host browser download and actual App Translocation on this development Mac. The macOS 14 deployment target does not establish minimum-OS acceptance.
Public source/tag/source archive: 9babe4f7bfc6132e6eb97cfec40af500efb7bd1c. The signed candidate retains its original implementation identity, mapped to the integrated public source by retained Git object identities. Assets include the accepted signed app ZIP, exact public source ZIP, checksums and sanitized qualification summary. The public repository is the single active development repository; earlier releases remain available.
Publication leaves the installed app, settings and stores unchanged.
Accepted build 12 download and App Translocation follow-up
On October 24, 2026, Chrome downloaded the published app ZIP directly from GitHub. The first received-transfer SHA-256 matched the accepted archive identity. Chrome quarantine remained on the ZIP and after Archive Utility extraction; the app was not moved or modified and quarantine was not removed.
The exact downloaded bundle launched as a separate instance with a fresh isolated acceptance profile. The documented NSWorkspace launch and the profile's independent receipt agreed on an actual App Translocation executable. Production controllers, system panels, restoration and external-open routing were disabled. The real native report overview displayed the retained owned-image fixture (3 functions, 2 agreements, 0 inconsistencies, 1 unresolved, 5 modeled observations). Closing the sole window terminated the process normally. The bounded isolated-process log query found no AttributeGraph, publishing-during-update or fatal-error messages.
Before/after metadata matched for the installed app, production stores, preferences, saved state and application recents. No build, signing, notarization, engine analysis, comparison-sheet or sidebar functional checks were repeated.
This closes the build 12 public-download/App Translocation gap on the development Mac. It does not establish clean-machine, minimum-macOS, Intel-app or offline acceptance. No fresh first-open confirmation dialog was observed on this previously used host, and the app-owned acceptance profile is not an OS sandbox.
The original qualification JSON is a publication-time record. The new download acceptance supplement updates that record's download/translocation scope and has a separate checksum. The app ZIP, source ZIP, original qualification JSON, original checksums and release tag are unchanged. This documentation update leaves the installed app, settings and stores untouched.

Original release notes — historical publication record
AIRS 0.3.3 Preview — build 10 adds an explicit isolated acceptance profile for bounded downloaded-app checks. Ordinary launches retain the existing app path. The v41 engine, report formats, Settings fixes and comparison semantics remain unchanged.
The profile uses fresh app-owned storage and separate AIRS/Lumen preferences, avoids production document/project/entitlement controllers and system recents, and disables window restoration, native file panels and external export. It displays the real report and comparison views. Invalid or reused profile configuration fails closed.
The Apple silicon app is Developer ID signed, notarized and stapled. This release reuses the accepted signed build 10 archive without rebuilding, re-signing, re-notarizing or repeating unchanged qualification.
Accepted results reused: two focused profile tests; optimized native compilation; browser download identity, quarantine and Gatekeeper acceptance; actual App Translocation; isolated report/comparison display, dismissal and normal close; unchanged installed-app and production-data metadata; prior v41 engine, Settings and comparison warning/filter/pagination qualification. The GUI acceptance used a local browser download, not a repeated public-host download. New/changed public source and the new executable passed their first bounded distribution sanitation inspection. No fresh CI pass is claimed.
This remains a preview. Clean-machine, minimum-macOS, Intel-app and offline qualification remain incomplete. The profile is app-owned isolation, not an OS sandbox, and does not qualify normal-session file panels, restoration, every report or every macOS version.
Public source/tag/source archive: 31d9ef4741ff975942aa14368dd0381f6180cd26. Assets contain the accepted signed app ZIP, exact source ZIP, SHA256SUMS and sanitized qualification summary. Earlier releases and assets remain available. Publication leaves the installed app, settings and stores unchanged.

Original release notes — historical publication record
AIRS 0.3.3 Preview — build 9 fixes native Settings sizing and the captured baseline-comparison sheet AttributeGraph cycle. This is a new maintenance release; the earlier build 7 release and assets remain available.
- Settings opens with a pane-appropriate minimum/preferred height and improved interpreter-control spacing, preserving existing preferences.
- Comparison summaries use eager layout. Findings are paged in bounded groups of 50 with Previous/Next navigation, so all findings remain reachable without lazy sheet-sizing feedback. Complete JSON and exports retain the full report.
- The
arm64-bounded-cfi-control-v41engine, report formats, comparison semantics and conservative unsupported/refusal boundaries are unchanged.
The Apple silicon app is Developer ID signed, notarized and stapled. This release reuses the accepted build 9 binary and its existing signing/notarization receipts; it was not rebuilt or re-signed for publication.
Accepted results reused: three focused native tests; zero AttributeGraph cycle breakpoint hits in the actual isolated SwiftUI app scene across unchanged/populated/filter/page/dismissal workflows; optimized build and installed startup; Settings appearance/sizing; bounded owned-image v41 qualification; prior scoped semantic, helper, runtime, vendor and export evidence. Changed public source and the new app executable passed their first distribution sanitation inspection. No fresh CI pass is claimed.
This remains a preview. Clean-machine, minimum-macOS, Intel-app and offline qualification remain incomplete. Prior browser-download/App Translocation acceptance belongs to build 7 and was not repeated for this release. System runtime diagnostics remain documented; zero observed cycles in the scoped comparison workflow is not an all-report/all-OS or clean-log guarantee.
Public implementation/tag/source archive: 1e4a76f4f4d710bf88afd643345d04ee21d8b9a0. Assets contain the accepted signed app ZIP, exact source ZIP, SHA256SUMS and sanitized qualification summary. Publication leaves the maintainer's installed app, settings and stores unchanged.

Original release notes — historical publication record
AIRS 0.3.3 Preview — build 7 adds bounded CFI control handling, structural signature evidence capture and saved review, and project-name search while retaining the corrected native Settings pane.
- Engine model
arm64-bounded-cfi-control-v41: bounded CFI advances and remember/restore handling with explicit unsupported and refusal boundaries. Historical v40 parsing behavior remains available. - Capture raw XML/DER signature evidence for a selected component, export the complete archive, and reopen it as historical evidence. Structural bytes do not establish signature validity, trust, effective permissions, or unwind correctness.
- Search project names without discarding a selected project's details. Portable-preview gates suppress competing pickers and distinguish current historical panels from preview content.
The Apple silicon app is Developer ID signed, notarized, and stapled. Apple accepted the new submission; ticket validation and the local distribution assessment passed.
Fresh native acceptance used owned fixtures for project reconstruction, ordinary and recipient preview gating, historical-panel visibility, project search, restoration of the original store, and signature capture/export/historical reopen. Optimized packaging and packaged v41 smoke checks passed. Prior scoped feature tests, runtime/vendor receipts, and Settings appearance qualification were reused; unchanged suites were not rerun.
This remains a preview. Real-image v41, clean-Mac/minimum-OS, Intel-app, and offline-download qualification are incomplete. Native control required a main-window traversal workaround. System Security performance diagnostics were logged during native UI-tree observation without an AIRS crash or observed hang; general performance is not qualified. Detailed signature fields were inspected in the reopened historical attachment; the live disclosure was not expanded by the control tools. No fresh CI pass is claimed.
Implementation/build/tag/source archive: b61f26e52ca9b42789943b4d7f7f0c360ee3c1c9. The source archive retains candidate-time release metadata. The attached qualification summary records completed acceptance and distribution results. Assets include the signed app ZIP, exact source ZIP, SHA256SUMS, and sanitized qualification summary.

Original release notes — historical publication record
AIRS 0.3.2 Preview — build 6 brings the corrected native Lumen Settings pane and the published engine and project-workflow improvements to the downloadable Apple silicon app.
- Native Settings with compact window chrome, corrected toolbar/sidebar control sizing, and aligned pane headings.
- Bounded engine development through model v40: X29-relative X stack accesses, scalar X SDIV, W RBIT, equivalent compact rules, and local FDE refusal handling.
- Settled project companion import/export/re-export, historical-panel support, and a read-only project catalog CLI.
The app is Developer ID signed, notarized, and stapled. Apple accepted submission 26671737-f5e4-4a8c-894d-1459365a2632; ticket validation and the local distribution assessment passed.
First release-specific validation covered the optimized app/CLI package, changed content, packaged version, one synthetic v40 audit, and CLI startup. Accepted focused feature, Lumen, runtime, and Settings appearance results were reused. This is a preview: new GUI interaction acceptance (including picker suppression and historical panels), real-image v40 qualification, clean-Mac/minimum-OS, Intel app, and offline-download acceptance remain incomplete. No full suite or corpus was rerun, and no fresh CI pass is claimed.
Implementation/build/tag/source archive: 3a30d7a7872cebd48babe4485bbe47ccb908c1eb. The source archive captures release-candidate metadata at build time; the attached qualification summary records the completed distribution results. Assets include the signed app ZIP, exact source ZIP, SHA256SUMS, and a sanitized qualification summary. Publication does not change your installed app or its stores.

AIRS 0.3.1 Preview — build 5
This update brings the public app to the completed private v35 checkpoint.
The engine baseline is 2b4b958, with signing fix b9988e8 and dSYM fix
74d5a47 from private main. In-progress v36 is excluded.
- X-only RBIT and UDIV, with exact model admission in Python and native reports.
- Bounded SP-relative, unsigned scaled aligned 8-byte X stack loads/stores.
Full known slots, allocation bounds, overlap invalidation, frame lifetime and
pointer-escape checks remain required. Unsupported forms remain unresolved. - Shared frame-effect classification preserves the existing X29/SP guard.
- Architecture-specific signing metadata coverage and dSYM picker attachment routing.
- All previously released 0.3.0 component, project and exchange features remain.
Report schema remains 1. The engine model is arm64-bounded-x-stack-v35.
Accepted focused semantic/native import and independent review receipts are
reused. The retained owned two-library v35 observation was 16 functions,
16 agreement, zero inconsistency and zero unresolved; this is a bounded prior
measurement, not a new corpus run or general support claim.
The standalone app is Developer ID signed, Apple notarized and stapled.
New-container signature verification, ticket validation and local macOS
distribution assessment passed. Release qualification is recorded separately. No unchanged suite, corpus,
source/runtime provenance hash or dependency qualification is repeated.
Minimum-OS, Intel-host, clean-Mac and broader workload qualification remain open.
The stronger external MacScope consumer/paired workflow remains separate.
Public source commit: fec0c76b1488fca2f76cfa8dca5a992825ed36e2.
The release assets include the standalone Apple silicon app, matching public
source archive, qualification-summary.json and SHA256SUMS.txt. No installed app
replacement or preferences migration is performed by this publication.

Original release notes — historical publication record
AIRS 0.3.0 (build 4) is an Apple silicon preview for macOS 14 or newer. The app is Developer ID signed, notarized, and stapled. Apple accepted submission 8a4546f3-48d3-4991-9d5b-a66b7255099d with no issues; local ticket validation and distribution assessment passed.
This preview adds bounded declaration observations for app bundles without CFBundleExecutable, requested-slice component entitlement availability, portable inspection projects, exact project-manifest preservation with staged-package preflight, and Python CLZ-v32 report import admission parity. Resource observations do not create executable or entitlement authority. Selected programs are treated as data and are not executed.
The four outstanding native availability states passed in the isolated qualification app: supported ARM64 explicit read, missing requested slice disabled, declaration-only missing capability disabled, and reopened imported evidence disabled. The native log recorded 96 capture-related AppKit geometry diagnostics, so a clean-log claim is not made. Accepted unchanged runtime, dependency, and behavior receipts were reused; no broad corpus pass or new engine-result aggregate is claimed. See qualification-summary.json and SHA256SUMS.txt beside the archives.
The source archive and release tag correspond to frozen source revision 377cf2baa82e335bb42ebf75fe454e7be30c83e2. Private development history and local evidence are excluded. Later AIRS development changes for signing slice coverage and dSYM attachment selection are merged in the separate jdotc1/AIRS repository, but are not included in this frozen build.
Clean older-OS, Intel-host, second-machine reconstruction, capacity, and the stronger external C4 paired-consumer workflow remain unqualified. Retain prior app versions and saved data when upgrading; this release does not reset preferences or retained reports.

Original release notes — historical publication record
AIRS 0.2.0 (build 3) consolidates the A/B feature set: entitlement inspection and saved baselines; review archives; bounded component inventory/comparison and scoped assessments; inspection projects and batch-history links; owned-build policy review with CLI parity; coverage presentation and bounded CLZ-v32 analysis.
The macOS arm64 app is Developer ID–signed, notarized and stapled. Apple accepted submission 3D379677-B11F-4170-8FFA-4E87D2318A32 with no issues. Local strict-signature, staple and pre-distribution checks passed, along with packaged bootstrap/CLI and native startup/version/Quit smoke checks.
This is a preview. Accepted A/B and B6 receipts were reused; they are not a fresh full-suite or corpus run. Known AppKit geometry/locale diagnostics remain. Clean supported-OS, upgrade/settings, network-offline launch and broader CI/toolchain/pilot/performance qualification remain separate gates. Publication does not install the app.
Assets include the signed app ZIP, frozen sanitized source ZIP, SHA256SUMS and a bounded qualification summary. The source snapshot excludes private history and local evidence. The source and binary share frozen implementation revision afcea3169c611f7798d6c3761279cf1289757b57; the public release commit records the exported snapshot. Existing AIRS/Lumen license policy and vendor notices are preserved.
Published-download qualification: the app ZIP downloaded from this release matched the accepted signed archive byte for byte. With quarantine explicitly applied, Gatekeeper accepted it as Notarized Developer ID. Normal Open confirmation, macOS App Translocation, native main window/About version 0.2.0 (3), and ordinary Quit completed. This was a CLI download with a controlled quarantine test, not a browser-specific or network-offline test. See download-qualification.json. Installation remains separate.

AIRS 0.1.1 Preview
A focused usability update for the native macOS workspace.
Changes
- Entitlement searches and empty categories now explain why no keys are visible
and offer Clear Search, Show All Changes or Show All Keys as appropriate.
Sorting and complete comparison data remain intact. - Matching entitlement snapshots offer Show All Keys; snapshots containing no
keys receive completed-comparison wording without a misleading recovery action. - Unwind review identifies a selected function hidden by search or verdict filters.
Show Selected Function restores its row; Report Overview retains filter context. - Empty function results no longer cover the overview row. Reason codes and
evidence precede the longer function identity block. - Function-list selection no longer publishes workspace changes directly from
the native list update callback.
Compatibility and validation
Version 0.1.1 (2), Apple silicon, macOS 14 or newer, with private Python 3.15.0.
Analysis model v31, report schemas, extraction and export semantics are unchanged.
Selected files are read as data and never executed.
Three focused selection tests and a native minimum-layout check with four states
passed. Native packaged-app interactions confirmed both workflows; the final
selection-binding repair completed checked transitions without publication
warnings. Unchanged engine, runtime, model and export evidence was reused.
This remains a preview. Clean-Mac, older-macOS and Intel-app qualification are
not established. Existing system window-sharing geometry and host-service
messages remain documented; this release does not claim a clean runtime log.
No general ARM64 correctness, effective-permission or security verdict is implied.
