v1.2-alpha: Journey (alpha), one DLL for Flower and Journey
Pre-release
Pre-release
Alpha: adds Journey (Steam) to the same DLL. Flower (GOG and Steam) works as in v1.1; for Flower alone, v1.1 remains the stable release.
One file for Flower and Journey
d3d11.dll works with Flower (GOG and Steam) and Journey (Steam). Copy it next to Flower.exe or Journey.exe, plus your own C:\Windows\System32\d3d11.dll renamed to d3d11_orig.dll. See the README for install, controls and settings.

Journey in VR
- Full VR gameplay with head tracking; terrain, culling and shadows follow your head.
- Title screen, menus and cutscenes on a big widescreen in front of you, with a fade through white when switching.
- Pause and idle screens stay in VR; the JOURNEY title stands in the world; tutorial prompts at a comfortable distance.
- Depth of field and motion blur off, heat shimmer reduced. Online companions work (only rendering is changed).
Known issues (alpha)
- Some end-of-chapter visions and story scenes are not detected as cutscenes and play in VR.
- Idle and some cutscene camera angles feel off in VR.
- Some distant lights and flames flicker differently in each eye.
- Launch with the headset already in SteamVR (Steam Frame: Steam Link VR connected); otherwise Journey waits on a black screen.
- Tested on one setup (RTX 5090, Steam Frame via Steam Link).
