First public release of elm327obd, a terminal OBD2 diagnostics tool for ELM327 WiFi adapters on macOS and Linux.

  • Live dashboard with big-digit gauges, sparklines and min/max, batched Mode 01 polling (10+ Hz over Wi-Fi), with automatic step-down for clone adapters that hang on multi-PID requests
  • Trouble codes from every module (stored, pending, permanent) with severity, likely causes, checks and related live sensors; obd explain for offline lookup
  • Readiness monitors, freeze frame, VIN, calibration IDs/CVNs
  • Mode 22 / UDS manufacturer PIDs with Ford, GM and Hyundai/Kia profiles and a read-only DID scanner
  • CSV logging, raw AT/OBD console with confirmation for risky services
  • obd --demo and a standalone ELM327 emulator
