The playlist is a simple list of tracks, using the ID3/metadata tags in each file for title, artist and album. Supported file types are .mp3, .wav, .flac, .ogg and .wma.

File > New starts an empty playlist. File > Save / Save As write the playlist as JSON to a location you choose; the last saved/opened playlist is loaded when the app starts.
Right-click a track and choose Remove to take it out of the playlist. Tracks whose file can't be found or read are skipped.
- The playlist can be sorted by track name or by artist, and shuffled on demand.
- Preferences > Shuffle Playlist At End shuffles automatically each time playback reaches the end of the playlist and wraps to the start (see Preferences).
An internet stream has no natural gap between tracks, so Delayed events never get a chance to run while it plays. Use Immediate events with streams (see Scheduler and Events).
- Audio goes through WASAPI in exclusive mode for near real-time playback, so other applications can't use the selected output device at the same time.
- Time and temperature announcements play on a second player layered on top of the current track; the track fades down and back up around them.
