What's fixed

  • No longer overlaps other taskbar widgets such as TrafficMonitor. PingMeter now detects other injected taskbar widgets and positions itself to the left of them instead of stacking on the same spot next to the tray.
  • New "Shift left (px)" setting under Placement — a manual fallback if you ever need to nudge the widget further left.

Install

Download PingMeter.exe below, put it somewhere permanent, run it, and enable "Start with Windows" in Settings. Requires the .NET 8 Desktop Runtime.

⚠️ Windows SmartScreen notice

When you first run the downloaded exe, Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". This is expected for any new, unsigned open-source executable — click More info → Run anyway. Verify your download:
