v0.10.0 — shared modules and secure credentials

Shared modules and secure review workflow

• New module screen uses the same capability registry, request plans and results as the Paper Curation CLI.
• Explicit review provider selection and optional budget ceiling; no silent cross-provider fallback.
• API credentials are stored in the shared native OS keyring instead of plaintext Zotero preferences. Environment injection remains supported.
• Reviews use corpus reservations and confirmed final output paths; returned artifacts are validated before registration. Partial bookkeeping failures are reported separately.
• Grounded summary/chat/comparison outputs can be exported as portable HTML. Stale asynchronous plans cannot authorize execution after inputs change.

Required backend update

First update Paper Curation to v0.12.0 and install its requirements.txt with Python 3.12. Then update this Zotero plugin.

Old plaintext API-key preferences are no longer read. Save each key using the OS-keyring button in Settings; the obsolete plaintext preference is removed only after secure storage succeeds. Local review/corpus execution currently requires macOS/Linux POSIX locking; existing reading and environment-key Light chat are separate paths.

Installation

Install the attached paper-curio.xpi through Zotero Tools → Plugins, or use Check for Updates. The stable update manifest is published separately at the existing release/update.json URL.

Verification

Desktop regression tests, TypeScript checks and XPI build passed. Browser-hosted module tests verified stale-plan blocking and explicit execution. The package version and SHA-512 update manifest were checked. Native Zotero installation/update is left to the user; this release does not claim a completed native installation test.

v0.9.3 — the bibliography DB follows a review

Runs the bibliography database after a review, which paper-curio never did.

Six papers were reviewed, classified, given timelines and pushed into their topic views, and none of them existed in the bibliography database — it had not moved in nine days. A full run_update_force run does this unconditionally right after frontmatter injection; paper-curio had no such step.

The new step runs three passes, and all three are needed:

• ingest (--changed-only) — adds the paper. 4 seconds when nothing changed.
• backfill — runs the eight author-to-institution byline parsers. Without it the ingest's own fallback tags a paper as a guess and stops: of the six new papers, three had no confirmed link until the backfill ran, after which five of six resolved.
• finalize — reconciles the two link tables, which are pruned on different rules. Skipping it left ten author links pointing at institutions their paper no longer listed, and check_bibliography_db --strict failed.

Measured cost in the steady state: 39 seconds per paper. A failure is logged and never fails the review; the next run catches up.

v0.9.2

Prevents transient empty bridge responses from erasing previously generated related-paper links. Recovers and re-syncs _pc_conn_sync.json before rendering review HTML.

• 리포트가 file:// 로 열리던 문제 — 브리지 응답에서 url 필드를 매핑하지 않아 항상 로컬 파일로 열렸다. file:// 에서는 Deep Research 패널이 CORS 로 죽어서 주소를 손으로 고쳐 써야 했다. 이제 http://localhost:8000/... 로 바로 열린다.

• 스트림이 카드로 — 연도·추세·규모·영향을 배지로 나란히. 스트림마다 흐름을 설명하는 한 단락.
• 논문 제목이 링크로 — 개요·스트림 본문의 제목을 아래 논문 카드로 바로 연결.
• 파일명 시각 고정 — 상속된 TZ 가 아니라 기계 설정 시간대(Asia/Seoul)를 쓴다. cron·launchd·원격 SSH 에서도 어긋나지 않는다.

우클릭 한 번으로 인용논문 수집 → 근거 등급 → 주제 분석 → 타임라인 → Deep Research 까지 끝난다.

이번 릴리즈

• citedby 우클릭 실행 — Zotero 항목에서 바로 인용논문 분석. 리포트를 http 로 띄워 Deep Research 패널이 동작한다 (file:// 에서는 안 된다).
• 서지 필드 전량 기록 — 등록 시 저자·저널·권호·페이지까지. Extra 에 피인용수를 출처와 시점 라벨과 함께 남긴다 (소스별 값을 병합하지 않는다).
• Scopus / Springer Nature 연동 — 문헌 DB 키를 브리지로 전달해 Zotero 에서 Scopus 가 붙는다. SN 계열 초록 회수율 8/8.
• PDF-first — 보유 PDF 전문을 1순위 근거로. 없으면 초록, 그것도 없으면 제목 — 제외하지 않고 근거 등급을 표시한다.
• py312 경로 종속 제거 — 인터프리터를 후보 목록에서 탐색한다. miniconda/miniforge 어느 쪽이든 붙는다.

함께 바뀐 paper-curation

• 타임라인 그림이 기본값 — opt-in 이면 아무도 안 켠다. --no-timeline 으로 끈다.
• narrative 도 리포트에 실린다 — 그림 재료로만 쓰고 버리던 본문. 작화 지시문은 잘라내고 독자용 분석만.

설치

paper-curio.xpi 를 받아 Zotero → 도구 → 플러그인에서 설치. paper-curation 경로는 자동 탐색한다.
