Full Changelog: v0.4.0...v0.5.0

Note (2026-09-14): the v0.5.0 tag was amended after release to fix a maven-shade-plugin/flatten-maven-plugin conflict that left the published POM with no <dependencies> entry for jackson-databind (consumers of the plain library jar never pulled it in transitively). This is a build-config-only fix - the artifacts already published to Maven Central for 0.5.0 are unchanged and unaffected.
