mpv not starting the next episode automatically when manually forwarded to the end

Describe the bug
When I manually forward to the end the player does not go to the next episode. Going back a few seconds and letting it play moves it to the next episode.

Expected behavior
The next episode should start playing.

Probably some issue with catching the media end event. Please post logs.

You may find it helpful to know that pressing '>' can skip to the next video.

I have posted the log that I think is relevant if you need more I would prefer to email it as I feel it has too much information and am not comfortable posting it here.

I have the same issue, here is my log file.
log.txt

I scrubbed to the end with my scrollwheel and then the episode paused automatically.
i then scrubbed backwards 1s and pressed play
it then plays for 1s and goes to the next episode.
