Jellyfin Playback Error

Have installed this on my Tizen Samsung TV and it works perfectly. I recently got a new samsung tv in my household which I also installed this on. The install worked perfectly and was all good, app loads on the tv. Whenever I try to play something though it throws me a "Playback Error" screen and says I am not supplying compatible media, media works perfectly on my other TV and any other devices including another tv with the android app.

My TV model number is: UA70KU6000
Jellyfin-Web version: 10.8.13

From the log, it is trying to transcode due to a playback error, but something is going wrong.

The log is cut: there should be a request before DirectPlayError. I guess it was DirectPlay.

DirectPlayError may be caused by an incorrect device profile (lying about supported formats) or a failure in the ASS subtitle renderer.

Please provide media info of the failing file.

Sorry for the late response. Where can I find the media info of the failing file? Would it just be in the docker container logs? I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to debugging applications and github. This is my first or second issue I have ever opened.

Works completely fine from my Debian desktop and other devices including another TV with Jellyfin Tizen installed onto it. It seems to be just this TV. The TV isn't a Tizen TV and I had installed the app via a Samsung Certificate rather than a Tizen Certificate. I was under the impression that this tizen branch could work on Samsung TV's? Possibly not it seems.

The TV isn't a Tizen TV and I had installed the app via a Samsung Certificate rather than a Tizen Certificate.

UA70KU6000 is Tizen 2.4 (https://developer.samsung.com/smarttv/develop/specifications/tv-model-groups.html).
It is just pretty old and, at least in the past, required a mixed cert (#19 (comment)).

I can't test Tizen 2.x since I don't own one. If you want to try, here are the possible ways:

From time to time I test it on the webOS 1.2 emulator. It's close to Tizen 2.x, but not 100%.

Where can I find the media info of the failing file?

Via webui, click More (3 dot) on the item and Media Info. There are copy buttons to help.
Or you can use mediainfo app on the file.

It is definitely trying to play direct and then switching to a fallback.
Have you tried turning off the subtitles (select Off on the item page before play)?

I'll give the logging a shot after I try reinstalling. I'm going to try and re-install Jellyfin as I think I may have used the .wgt file from the other Tizen build I made and used the certificate for the new TV, saw something mentioned in this repo that you need to rebuild everytime you change certificate. Will give it a shot now.
I have also tried to run it with no subtitles before and still had no luck. I have recreated the log using the subtitles "Off" when selecting the media in the app.

I also have a Tizen 2.4 TV and also encountered this issue.
Digging a little bit, it seems like the TV reports quite a lot of different playback profiles, tries to play a couple, but fails every single time:

Tizen logs also show the player being unable to play the stream:

Seems like it's either the player being unable to detect what the TV can actually play or something's wrong with its init.

For the record, the Tizen build used to work for me up until the 10.8.z version - was forced to upgrade to the newer build because of the server.

I am also running behind a reverse proxy, but this happens in both local network and through the proxy - above mentioned solutions didn't help.

I'm able to reproduce this issue with version 10.10.z. The logs show the same error messages. However, in my case, the app seems to work normally when I use the local address. It only fails when I try to use the reverse proxy.
