The tests in the git plugin were duplicated from the tests in the git-tag-message plugin. They don't add significant value to the git plugin tests. The last release of the git-tag-message plugin was 6 years ago. The git-tag-message plugin has only about 2000 installations, a very small fraction of the 250000 installations of the git plugin. Risk of regression is low and impact of a regression on users is low. Testing done: * Confirmed that tests pass locally and that git-tag-message is no longer mentioned in the test logs
