cellpy 2.0.0rc1

First release candidate for cellpy 2.0 after the native-headers / polars flip (alphas through v2.0.0a5+).

Gates (#574)

  • CI essential (linux / uv) and full (linux / uv) green on the release tip
  • Docs (zensical) green
  • Benchmarks vs GHA v1.x baseline: fail-band (+100%) clear; intermittent load/summary warn-band (+20%) accepted for rc soak as single-round GHA noise
  • cellpycore==0.2.3; migration guide + DEPRECATIONS.md present
  • Stage-3 sub-issues closed except tracking; #655 (fixture gaps) deferred

Install

pip install --pre cellpy==2.0.0rc1

Not in this release

  • Stable v2.0.0 (after soak)
  • conda-forge feedstock bump (follows stable)
  • Start of the 12-month v1.x bugfix-only window (starts at stable)
