Roda 3.107.0 has been released!

New Features

• A url_escape plugin has been added. It adds url_escape and
  url_unescape methods for use in route block scope (including views).

• The assets plugin :css_compressor and :js_compressor options now
  accept Proc and Method values, which are called with the asset
  content and should return the compressed content.

Roda 4 Planning

• Roda 4 planning has started. See
  Roda 4 Planning #427 for details.

• As part of Roda 4 preparation, Ruby 1.9 support will be dropped in
  Roda 3.109.

Backwards Compatibility

• The :check_arity and :check_dynamic_arity application options now
  default to :warn. This means that if you provide a block which Roda
  turns into a method, and the arity for the block is not the expected
  arity for the method, you will get a warning. Starting in Roda 4,
  Roda will not check the arity, and if the arity is incorrect, you
  will get an ArgumentError raised when the method is called.

• Providing a symbol other than :none to the assets plugin
  :css_compressor and :js_compressor options now results in a warning.
  Switch to passing a Proc or Method. See the assets plugin
  documentation for how to convert a supported symbol to an
  appropriate Proc or Method.

  If the assets plugin :css_compressor and :js_compressor options has
  a nil value (the default), and there is an available compressor that
  Roda uses, Roda will now warn when compressing. Switch to providing
  an appropriate Proc or Method as the option value.

  Roda 4 will only support nil, :none, procs, and methods as valid
  values for the :css_compressor and :js_compressor options.

• Passing a :upgrade_from_rack_session_cookie_secret or :gzip_over
  option to the sessions plugin now warns. Support for upgrading Rack
  sessions and support for compressing sessions will be removed in
  Roda 4.

• The delay_build plugin now warns when loaded. It has been a no-op
  for many versions, so if you are using it, you can remove it. This
  plugin will be removed in Roda 4.

• The RodaRequest#consume private method now warns if there is a block
  given instead of a second argument and there is a match. If you are
  using this support, update the call to pass a method symbol as a
  second argument instead of passing a block. This support will be
  removed in Roda 4.
