Breaking Changes

• Removed setProxyCompat (842a886). Proxy compatibility is now the default and automatic; drop any calls to the removed export.

Fixed

• Layer instances wrapped in a reactive proxy now work (842a886). Under a receiver-passing proxy, DOM accessors previously failed with an napi_unwrap error because reactive traps re-wrapped the object-typed self-reference key, tripping the V8 proxy invariant. The registry address is now stored as a scalar BigInt data property, which traps pass through unchanged, so the instance resolves under any proxy.
• Query APIs no longer silently drop nodes (3cb4603). querySelector, querySelectorAll, getElementsByTagName, getElementsByClassName, getElementById, documentElement, head, body, parentNode, firstChild and the other child/sibling accessors used to swallow internal wrap failures and return short arrays or null; the error now propagates.

Internal

• Unified all native reference wrappers (LayerRef, WeakRef, ToggleRef, OtherRef) behind a single const-generic RefInner with a shared new/from_raw/raw_value constructor set (a47a578, 105c7d0), and collapsed the wrap-and-hold boilerplate into wrap_node_ref (3cb4603). No JavaScript-facing API changes.
