Release list
2.0.0
The map now colours each county by how it compares with the whole country, the chosen area's past six months are drawn as a trend, and the card can show the flu-like illness visits as well as a disease. It has a visual editor, and it scales with the space it is given.
Breaking changes
Counties are coloured by level, not by change. A county used to be coloured by how its cases changed from the week before, which is mostly noise when a county has one or two cases: going from 1 to 2 painted it red. It is now coloured by its incidence against the whole country's, which holds up in a quiet week as well as a busy one.
What to do after upgrading
Update the thl integration to 2.0.0 first. The colours, the trend and the flu-like illness visits all come from sensors it did not have before. With an older integration the card falls back to colouring by change, as it did.
Nothing else is required. To keep the old colours, say so:
type: custom:thl-card
entity: sensor.thl_influenssa
color_by: changeAlso in this release
- A trend of the past six months under the map, drawn from the statistics the integration keeps. Pointing at it shows the week and its figure.
- The flu-like illness visits are drawn like a disease: choose their sensor as the entity, and the counties are coloured by their share of all primary care visits.
default_areapicks a county that is chosen whenever the card loads, so your own county's figures are there without clicking.- A card a whole section wide puts the figures beside the map, over the sea west of it, so it isn't taller than it needs to be. Narrower cards keep them under the map.
- A visual editor covers every option, and its entity picker offers only the sensors the card can draw.
- The map scales with the card instead of being fixed in pixels, and the shapes and the numbers on them scale together.
map_widthfixes it at one size when you want that. - Rewritten internals: TypeScript, no
custom-card-helpersdependency, and 92 tests with CI.
