- Add a setting to enable or disable cross-session communication without disabling agent status reporting.
- Reduce default hook context to a short on-demand mailbox command; emit no communication context when disabled.
- Move hook processing into the receiver, with durable queuing, duplicate detection and protection against stale events.
- Preserve existing Claude and Codex hook registration commands and the user's original Claude status line.
- Stop repeatedly checking hook registration while settings remain open.
