This hotfix restores file-access tracing for installations affected by the 1.0.2 helper registration issue.
- Migrates tracing to a stable new helper identity and removes the damaged legacy registration automatically.
- Registers the helper only once and resumes tracing after approval without asking users to toggle Login Items repeatedly.
- Keeps existing tracing results while the helper is repaired or waiting for approval.
- Provides clear repair and installation states, including protection against registering from a DMG or temporary folder.
If macOS asks for approval during migration, enable FindDiskKiller once in System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions, then return to the app. Do not turn the item off and on again.
