Fixed

  • Folder I/O tracing no longer reports incomplete processing for Electron socket and pipe reads that are not file activity.
  • Real Electron file writes continue to resolve through open file descriptors and are counted against the correct files and folders.
  • Pathless events that may still represent file I/O remain visible as coverage gaps instead of being silently discarded.

Verification

  • Validated with a live Electron process group and the privileged tracing helper.
  • Signed and notarized for Apple silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 14 or later.
