New

  • Added Long-Term Insights for reviewing disk, CPU, network, and application activity across the last 7 days, 30 days, or year.
  • Added launch-at-login and open-main-window-at-login controls.
  • Added configurable live sampling from 1 to 60 seconds, with a new energy-conscious 3-second default.
  • Added minute-level transactional history persistence with tiered rollups and a bounded storage budget.

Improved

  • History trends now support scroll-wheel zooming, drag navigation, and a stable single timeline navigator.
  • Application rankings use real app icons, aligned responsive columns, and layouts that make better use of wide windows.
  • Loading placeholders now match the final layouts across Now, Applications, and Long-Term Insights to reduce visual shifts.
  • Longer periods include recent unrolled data exactly once and preserve independent metric coverage instead of treating missing values as zero.
  • Process network sampling is throttled and smoothed while preserving observed totals across exits, counter resets, and partial samples.

Verification

  • Passed 162 deterministic, non-privileged unit and integration tests.
  • Signed and notarized for Apple silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 14 or later.
  • App and DMG notarization were both accepted by Apple; the distribution passed Gatekeeper checks.
