The first release of Ugh Xcode, a menu bar app that shows how much disk space Xcode and its simulators use, and permanently deletes the items you check.

  • The menu bar shows the total you could reclaim.
  • Sections: Build Artifacts, Simulators, Simulator Runtimes, Device Support, Archives and Xcode Versions.
  • Check what you want gone, review the list and its warnings, then delete. Deleting is permanent: nothing goes to the Trash.
  • The Xcode you're using is listed but can't be deleted.
  • Updates arrive through Check for Updates in the app.

Download ugh-xcode-1.0.dmg below, open it and drag Ugh Xcode to Applications. Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Requires macOS 26 or later.
