Public trial · Not Apple-notarized. This build is ad-hoc signed and has no Developer ID distribution signature. macOS may block its first launch and require manual approval. The filename retains candidate to identify the early-access build.

Download MacParallax-0.8.0-candidate.dmg below. Read the installation guide and check compatibility first.

Copy MacParallax to Applications and open it there. If macOS cannot verify it and you trust this download, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Then complete the app's Screen Recording setup. Updates may require approval again. Do not disable Gatekeeper globally. Apple's explanation of these alerts.

The trial lasts 14 days from the first successful live desktop effect. Checkout is not open yet. If the trial ends before sales open, the effect is disabled. No card is required and no automatic payment is taken.

Changes: signed license verification, 14-day trial starting on the first successful live effect, activation/deactivation UI, optional Conversation volume response, opt-in audio onboarding, 9-language additions, cursor rendering region optimization and GPU error cleanup.

Checks: 45,771 core assertions, 16 capture/model integration scenarios, rendering pixel checks including optimized cursor comparison, packaging regressions, and 11 license/server test cases passed on one M2 Pro MacBook Pro. Provider responses in license tests are mocked; no live purchase was made. Physical sleep/wake, wider hardware compatibility and real Spaces gestures are not established by these automated results.

Before purchases open: merchant live-mode configuration, a test purchase and refund, and a working private support contact. Developer ID signing and Apple notarization are deferred for this early-access release.
