1.0.10
1.0.9
Italic on colored text
- Cmd/Ctrl + I on colored or highlighted text now italicizes it with
<em>inside the color tag, so it renders in Live Preview — the same way Cmd/Ctrl + B uses<strong>. Works on the whole tag, part of the text inside it, or a selection mixing colored and plain text. Pressing it again removes the italic. - Everywhere else Cmd/Ctrl + I works as before.
1.0.8
Bold inside colored text
- Selecting just part of the text inside a highlight or colored text and pressing Cmd/Ctrl + B (or the toolbar's Bold) now bolds that part with
<strong>inside the tag, e.g.<mark class="nst-hl-blue">they keep <strong>static states</strong></mark>, so it renders in Live Preview. Pressing it again removes the bold. - Italic, strikethrough and code from the toolbar work the same way.
1.0.7
iPad
- Fixed the toolbar's icon buttons (Bold, Italic, Link, …) showing up blank on iPad.
- Fixed the toolbar grid on iPad: icon buttons were too wide, so only 3 fit per row and Comment and the custom button ended up on separate rows. The toolbar now has the same 5-per-row layout as on desktop.
1.0.6
Bold on mixed selections
- Bolding a selection that mixes colored/highlighted text with plain text (e.g.
<span class="nst-fg-red">language</span> and <span class="nst-fg-red">structure</span>) now bolds every part:<strong>inside each color tag and**around the plain text. Works with Cmd/Ctrl + B and the toolbar; italic, strikethrough and code from the toolbar work the same way. - Pressing it again removes the bold from every part.
- Fixed a selection spanning two color tags being treated as one tag, which put the bold in the wrong place.
1.0.5
Bold on colored text
- Cmd/Ctrl + B on colored or highlighted text now bolds it with
<strong>inside the color tag, the same as the toolbar's Bold button, so it renders in Live Preview. Pressing it again removes the bold. Everywhere else Cmd/Ctrl + B works as before. - Toolbar formatting buttons now also work when only the text inside a color tag is selected (e.g. in Source mode), not just the whole tag.
README
- Added the full color palette (text, bold text and background, light and dark mode).
1.0.4
Bold colored text
- Bold text with a text color now uses the bold variant of that color, in both light and dark mode.
- Bold, italic, strikethrough and code applied to colored or highlighted text now render correctly in Live Preview (previously the raw
**could show up). They're written inside the color tag as HTML, e.g.<span class="nst-fg-red"><strong>text</strong></span>. - Coloring text that's already bold keeps it bold, and clicking Bold again removes it — including on markup from older versions.
- Clear formatting now also removes nested bold/italic tags.
1.0.3
Colors
- Text and highlight colors now use the Notion color set, with separate values for light and dark mode.
Already-applied colors in your notes update automatically. If you customized highlight colors in settings, those still override the new defaults — use the reset button next to each color to switch back.
1.0.2
Comment button
- New Comment style setting: Automatic (default), Notion-style Comments plugin, or Native Obsidian comment (%%).
- Automatic uses the Notion-style Comments plugin's Add comment when it's enabled, and Obsidian's built-in Toggle comment (
%%text%%) otherwise. - Fixed the Comment button calling the comment plugin by the wrong command id.
iPad / mobile
- The toolbar no longer disappears when the on-screen keyboard or shortcut bar resizes the window.
- Tapping toolbar buttons and menu items no longer hides the toolbar before the action runs.
- On mobile, the toolbar appears below the selection so it isn't covered by the system Copy/Paste menu.
