Pot 0.0.2 improves assistant setup, Agent connections, task continuity and desktop updates.

What's changed

  • Create assistants directly on existing Runtime connections. The first-connection flow now guides Codex and Antigravity setup through assistant creation, with the official Agent icons and clearer installation and pairing instructions.
  • Resolve filesystem aliases in default Agent host workspaces so assistant creation also works through macOS /var paths, while rejecting later workspace symlink replacement.
  • Add Antigravity Agent Link support for persistent, model-managed assistants.
  • Preserve the latest chat messages when switching assistants. Improve browser and phone layouts, task and schedule scrolling, background-task elapsed times and status alignment, and keyboard interactions with task history.
  • Bind Task continuation to its original workspace and Git association so resumed work retains the correct context.
  • Repair the native macOS App update lifecycle, including cleanup acknowledgements, actual process-exit checks, relaunch readiness and rollback. Native upgrade and launch-failure simulations are now part of release qualification.
  • Add an independent macOS Homebrew CLI Formula, using the same versioned CLI archive. Improve browser regression fixtures, cancellation/restart contracts and committed-process-output assertions.

Installation and updates

macOS App and CLI require Apple Silicon and macOS 26 or newer. Homebrew packages become available after the release's package synchronization PR is merged. The App supports its signed updater; Homebrew CLI installations use brew upgrade jjyr/pot/pot-cli with their hosts stopped.

Read MACOS-RELEASE.txt for the selected Apple signing/notarization mode and first-launch instructions. Homebrew preserves quarantine. Pot's Ed25519-signed update feed authenticates downloads independently of Apple.

Older native Apps with the previous updater shutdown protocol need a manual installation: quit the old App before replacing its complete bundle. Automatic updates also require matching storage format and migration fingerprints; see update boundaries.

Linux server CLI packages support amd64 and arm64. The Linux desktop .deb is experimental and amd64 only. Windows is unsupported. Container distribution is ghcr.io/jjyr/pot:0.0.2 for Linux amd64 and arm64; this release does not move latest or minor-version aliases.

Artifacts are added independently after each channel's full checks, native smoke and applicable signing gates pass. Only listed assets are available. Archives include SHA-256 sidecars and per-channel manifests.
