AgentProcs v0.6.3 is a maintenance release focused on release integrity, package hygiene, current-toolchain compatibility, and clearer public documentation. It does not include the unfinished v0.7 log-search work from draft PR #3.

Highlights

• Restores a warning-free Clippy build on current stable Rust while preserving the Rust 1.88 MSRV.
• Refreshes locked transitive dependencies and documents the narrow, temporary RUSTSEC-2026-0253 exception tracked in issue #9.
• Completes crates.io discovery metadata and restricts the crate archive to an explicit positive allowlist.
• Hardens CI and release automation with immutable Action revisions, least-privilege permissions, exact tag/version/main-ancestry checks, serialized tests, ordered publication jobs, and a published SHA-256 manifest.
• Replaces a stale-session test setup that could orphan a live daemon with synthetic stale artifacts.
• Adds a reproducible crash/recovery demo, an accessible architecture diagram, explicit Unix-only and same-user security boundaries, and a factual alternatives guide.
• Removes unfinished generated benchmark results that did not support public performance or comparative claims.

Supported platforms and scope

AgentProcs supports Linux and macOS on x86_64 and ARM64. It is a same-user development process supervisor, not a sandbox, container runtime, or Windows process manager.

Security note

cargo audit --deny warnings passes with the repository's exact advisory policy. RUSTSEC-2026-0253 remains narrowly accepted for transitive lru 0.16.3; AgentProcs does not depend on lru directly or use the affected LruCache::pop path. Issue #9 tracks removal when both transitive dependency paths accept a fixed version.
