Changelog (English)

[1.3.32] - 2026-08-26

Changed

  • Codex OAuth accounts are no longer restricted by cross-instance occupancy: the same account can be used by the default instance, managed instances, API Key bindings, and API Service without being blocked merely because another instance is using it.
  • Switching the default Codex instance is safer: concurrent changes from development and production builds now report a conflict immediately, preventing one environment from reverting a switch completed by the other. API Service now closes the official client still using the default instance before taking it over.
  • Codex launch preview now shows OAuth token expirations: standard OAuth accounts display the local expiration and relative remaining time for both access_token and id_token, including clear near-expiry and expired states.
  • Automatic quota refresh now processes accounts in sequence: manual batch refresh keeps its existing concurrency, while background refresh uses a steadier request pace to reduce short bursts of rate limiting and connection contention.
  • Codex experimental-model context presets now use compact labels: preset values and compaction thresholds use a shorter format to reduce crowding in the model editor dialog.

Fixed

  • Fixed older Codex OAuth credentials overwriting newer tokens: account switching, reauthorization, instance launch, and local credential synchronization now prefer newer valid credentials, preventing an account from reverting to stale tokens and encountering remote revocation or sign-in failure again.
  • Fixed Codex clients starting with an expired id_token and then redirecting to sign-in: default instances, managed instances, and API Key accounts bound to OAuth now refresh an expired or near-expiry id_token before launch. If no valid token can be obtained, the shared reauthorization flow is shown; managed-instance flows open the OAuth dialog directly and resume the original instance after authorization succeeds.
  • Fixed authorization state becoming inconsistent after binding OAuth to a Codex API Key or API Service: bound accounts now show authorization issues with a direct reauthorize action, and reauthorized credentials are synchronized to API Service. Accounts with a usable access_token remain available to API Service and are not counted as failed accounts.
  • Fixed stale account state remaining visible after OAuth reauthorization: the account list, current account, and API Service binding state update immediately after authorization and can no longer be restored to their pre-authorization state by an older response that finishes later.
  • Fixed Codex client launch failures still being reported as a successful account switch or API Service activation: launch failures now retain a clear error result and retry action instead of treating a completed credential change as proof that the client is usable.
  • Fixed Codex local import sometimes using stale OAuth credentials: OAuth accounts are imported from the official credential store, including macOS Keychain, while API Key, Agent Identity, and personal access token imports retain their existing behavior.
  • Fixed Codex API Service text tests being blocked by image-capability checks for some accounts: ordinary text tests no longer advertise image-generation tools to upstreams without image capacity, while actual image-generation requests remain unaffected.
  • Fixed Codex batch quota refresh repeatedly probing desktop processes on Windows: a refresh batch reuses one runtime detection result, reducing PowerShell subprocesses and avoidable waits.
