Complete redevelopment as C#/WPF application

This version is a complete redevelopment in pure C# (WPF).
The previous Go/Wails architecture has been completely replaced for better performance, easier installation, and direct COM integration without a subprocess layer.

Highlights

  • Direct access to OneNote via COM API (no more subprocess)
  • Export to .onepkg, .xps, .pdf and local backup
  • Progress indicator with abort function
  • Self-contained – no need to pre-install .NET
  • Windows x64 only (OneNote Desktop required)

Installation

  • Download OneNoteBackupExporter_Setup_1.0.0.exe
  • Run setup
  • OneNote Desktop must be installed and opened at least once

  • Windows 10/11 x64
  • Microsoft OneNote Desktop (Microsoft 365 or 2019/2021)
