New features

Open Folder button

A new Open Folder button (directly left of Exit) opens the GUI data folder — ~/.local/rEFInd_GUI/GUI on Linux, %LOCALAPPDATA%\rEFInd_GUI\GUI on Windows — in your file manager. This is the folder where refind.conf, background.png, and os_icon1..4.png are staged by Create Config, so you can inspect or hand-tweak them without hunting for the path.

Quick access to the randomizer's backgrounds

All installers now place a backgrounds shortcut inside that same GUI folder that jumps straight to the background randomizer's image folder (<data dir>/backgrounds):

  • Linux install script: a relative symlink.
  • Windows dev-install script and the packaged installer: a backgrounds.lnk shortcut (removed automatically on uninstall).

Drop PNGs into that folder and the Rand BG On feature will rotate through them on each boot.
