v1.1.0

@jmoorewv jmoorewv released this 07 Oct 16:05

Added

  • Override status dots on the settings page: each plugin and theme row shows a dot in the color of its effective update mode (green automatic, amber manual, grey disabled). A filled dot means the item has its own override, and a hollow ring means it follows the group default.
  • The dots update as you change a dropdown or the default setting, before you save.
  • Each row also has screen-reader text, so color is not the only signal.

Security

  • The updater now accepts only exact download URLs for the release zip and release page, so path traversal, query strings and look-alike hosts cannot pass validation.
  • Unexpected value types in GitHub's response are ignored instead of causing PHP warnings.

Changed

  • The details popup now shows the release notes as formatted text instead of raw Markdown.
  • The popup gains Description and Installation tabs, and shows the required WordPress and PHP versions and the last updated date.
  • New banner artwork that no longer sits behind the plugin name label.
