Release v2.9.0 — PyPI Packaging, Commit Testing CI (Superseded by v2.9.1)

Note

Release v2.9.0 has been superseded by Release v2.9.1, which contains all CI lint and typing fixes along with complete attached distribution assets (wheel, sdist, tarball, and standalone bundle).

Highlights

  • PyPI Packaging & Distribution: Standard pyproject.toml configuration, entrypoints audit-cis and audit_cis, dynamic versioning.
  • PyPI Automated Publishing: Added .github/workflows/pypi-publish.yml supporting repository token secrets and OIDC Trusted Publishing.
  • GitHub Actions Commit Testing: Enabled CI workflows across all pushed commits and branches.
