SceneRotator HeadTracker is a lightweight webcam-based head-tracking utility for controlling the IEM SceneRotator via OSC.

This v0.2 beta release is intended for supplementary listening material, reviewer evaluation, and practical reproduction of head-tracked binaural Ambisonics playback in REAPER.

Windows and Linux

Windows and Linux support is available as source-build workflow and is currently experimental until verified by real users with webcam, REAPER, and IEM SceneRotator.

Notes

  • Camera permission may need to be granted in macOS on first launch.
  • REAPER and the IEM Plug-in Suite are external dependencies and are not bundled.
  • The app sends OSC to /SceneRotator/ypr, defaulting to 127.0.0.1:7000.
