Chimera 0.1.0 (alpha)
New firmware for the PreenFM3: three sound engines, six parts, and the ORBIT sequencer. This is an early test version.
What to download
chimera-0.1.0.bin: the firmware.factory-v1.zip: 56 sounds and 4 demo songs.
1. Install the firmware
Follow the short steps in the README.
2. Add the sounds
- Unzip
factory-v1.zip. - Turn the PreenFM3 off. Hold MENU and turn it on.
- Press button 3 (SD card access). The PreenFM3 shows up on your computer like a USB stick.

- Eject it on your computer. Turn the PreenFM3 off and on again.
The demo songs replace any song saved in the first four slots.
To find the sounds: press EDIT + B1, then turn knob 2 to the FACTORY tab.
Demo songs
- REVERB ROOMS: Turn TYPE through QUAD, ROOM and HALL.
- REVERB BLOOM: Hold slow chords, then turn TYPE from BLOOM to REVERSE.
- REVERB GATE: Play short, sharp notes: the gate cuts every tail, the echoes too.
- CHORUS DELAY: Turn CHORUS through I, II and I+II.
Something wrong?

- Report a bug.
- To go back to the stock firmware, see the README.
