Patch Changes

  • 9ce3e70 Thanks @joelhooks! - ## MCP Server: CommonJS Build for Claude Code Compatibility

Switched MCP server entrypoint from .js to .cjs for reliable CommonJS execution in Claude Code's plugin runtime.

    Changes:

    • Build outputs swarm-mcp-server.cjs instead of .js
    • Plugin manifest points to .cjs entrypoint
    • Build script supports format: "cjs" option per entry
    • Plugin version synced to package version (0.57.5)

    New utilities:

    • scripts/sync-plugin-versions.ts - keeps plugin.json version in sync
    • scripts/recover-memories.ts - memory recovery tooling
    • scripts/regenerate-embeddings.ts - embedding regeneration

Why it matters: Ensures the MCP server runs correctly when Claude Code spawns it, regardless of the host environment's module resolution.

🐝 MCP Entrypoint Ships in Repo

Committed the built JavaScript MCP entrypoint so GitHub clone installs can run the MCP server without a build step.

Why it matters: prevents missing-file errors when OpenCode launches MCP tooling from a fresh clone.

Impact: smoother onboarding and reliable swarm mcp runs in local dev.

Backward compatible: existing npm installs and configs continue to work.

🧩 MCP JS Entrypoint for Git Clone Installs

The Claude marketplace now launches a committed JS MCP entrypoint from claude-plugin/bin, so GitHub-cloned installs work without a build step.

    What changed

    • Bundled JS entrypoint committed at claude-plugin/bin/swarm-mcp-server.js
    • Build script keeps the JS entrypoint in sync
    • Tests updated to assert the manifest uses the JS entrypoint

    Why it matters

    • Fixes MCP startup when marketplace clones the repo (no dist/)

    Compatibility

    • No API changes; existing installs keep working
