What's New

  • Filter-aware trailing penalties — Trailing weight now depends on filter type: narrowband (Ha/OIII/SII) × 0.3, RGB × 0.6, luminance × 1.0, unknown × 0.7. Slight trailing in narrowband no longer over-penalizes precious integration time
  • FL-adaptive eccentricity detection (Rule 5) — Frames with eccentricity > 2× the focal-length baseline are flagged as garbage regardless of FWHM or consensus
  • Multi-reason garbage display — Stage 1 now checks ALL rules independently; frames can show multiple garbage reasons simultaneously
  • Decentered target detection (Rule 1b) — Plate-solved coordinates showing frame center shifted > 30% of FOV
  • Twilight/dawn detection (Rule 10) — Sun position computed from DATE-OBS + site coordinates
  • AIsaac comprehensive user guide — Full app knowledge covering all features, workflows, keyboard shortcuts, and best practices. AIsaac can now fully serve as interactive help
  • AIsaac knowledge tests — Automated test suite validates prompt coverage of all garbage reasons, tiers, phases, features
